A lot of people wonder and worry about the differences between Spanish from Spain and Spanish from Latin America.
Personally, I think the differences are often overstated. They are similar maybe to US English, UK English and Austrailian English for example. There are different words in all 3 Englishes, yet any native in one of those countries can understand the natives in the other countries with the exception of wondering about a few words. For example, in the UK, they call a car hood a "bonnet" However, almost every normal statement is easy to understand like "He likes his dog. They walk in the park often" or whatever.
One of the main things different in Spain Spanish is what is called "Vosotros". This basically means "You all". This is "Ustedes" in Latin America Spanish. Also, in this form, the verb gets congugated differently, but again, most of the wording is very similar.
I think it is far more important to just keep learning Spanish in any way and not worry so much about the differences.
